Applications are invited for the post of senior speciality fellow in the HPB unit at Southampton General Hospital.  

This is a 12 month, fixed term position, suitable for a post CCT (or equivalent) level surgeon, with significant existing experience in the operative and clinical management of complex tertiary HPB surgery patients.  

We would expect the successful candidate to be competitive to take up a consultant HPB surgeon post in the UK on completion of the fellowship. The experience will be tailored to the needs of the fellow, but will include exposure to the full range of advanced, complex robotic and open HPB surgery.  

  The Southampton HPB team is responsible for the management of HPB conditions across a catchment population of 3.8 million people across South-Central England and the Channel Islands.
