This post in intended for registrar grade doctors who wish to be eligible for a UK consultant post in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery via the CESR route. A certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) is the essential requirement for doctors via non-deanery training to be eligible to apply for a UK substantive post. 

The training rotation will allow you to meet the minimum requirements for eligibility via the CESR route. Each post will last 6 months and will encompass the following specialties 

·       Hip and Knee Surgery

·       Hand Surgery

·       Shoulder and Elbow Surgery

·       Spine

·       Paediatric Orthopaedics

·       Foot and Ankle Surgery

·       Major Trauma
