An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the South Coast’s largest Critical Care Unit for a Sister / Charge Nurse in Surgical High Dependency Unit (SHDU) Critical care Unit comprisies of General ICU, Neurological ICU, Cardiac ICU and Surgical High Dependency: Who are proud of their national status and reputation within Critical Care.  

University Hospitals Southampton (UHS) is one of two major trauma centres in the south of England renowned for its local and national contribution to critical care and for consistently delivering high standards of care. UHS has a 25 bedded General Intensive Care Unit that works closely with the SHDU a 10 bedded elective unit. The SHDU admits patients with diverse and complex needs following a variety of injuries as well as providing high quality of post-operative nursing for patients.
