An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time, band 6, Practice Educator to join our expanding Neonatal Education Team in Southampton. We are looking to appoint a highly knowledgeable, motivated and skilled neonatal Nurse to support the development of new and junior staff within the unit. 

You will hold the Neonatal Qualified in Speciality Qualification and have experience in caring for complex babies requiring ventilatory / respiratory support, including high frequency oscillation ventilation and nitric oxide. Previous experience of teaching students and staff in clinical practice would be an advantage. 

Working closely with the Lead Educator and the other practice educators within the unit, you will be primarily supporting the education of new and junior staff within the neonatal unit. This will include working alongside junior staff in clinical practice and skills training with those on the QIS Foundation & Speciality programmes.
