We are seeking an exceptional and motivated Radiology Matron to provide strategic and operational leadership across our Radiology services during a 12‑month maternity cover period. This is a pivotal role that ensures our patients receive safe, high‑quality, and compassionate care while supporting the continued development of our clinical teams.

As Radiology Matron, you will play a key role in shaping the patient experience, driving service improvements, and championing clinical excellence. Your leadership will directly contribute to maintaining high standards of practice, enhancing patient flow, and ensuring our teams are supported to deliver outstanding diagnostic care.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on achieving organisational objectives, including patient safety, workforce wellbeing, and continuous quality improvement. You will also help advance our vision for modern, patient‑centred Radiology services by promoting innovation and supporting the delivery of efficient, effective pathways.

You will report to the Divisional Nursing Director and work closely with the Clinical Director, modality leads, advanced practitioners, and multidisciplinary partners across the organisation. You will provide visible leadership, operational oversight, and professional support to the Radiology workforce, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
